Data Collection and Privacy
SplitHub prioritizes user privacy and only collects essential data for test analysis. We do not sell personal data to third parties, nor do we use such data for marketing or advertising purposes. Additionally, we do not store any private information about our clients' website visitors.
Impressions
- SplitHub tracks the number of impressions each variant receives.
- When a test is active, SplitHub collects data on user interactions with different variants.
User Privacy
- Requests to the database are blocked when a test is not active, ensuring that data is saved only for users involved in the test.
- An ID is created for each user in a test to link them with future conversions, while maintaining privacy.
Recorded Data
- Impressions: Number of times each variant is viewed.
- Conversions: Number of conversions for each variant.
- Time Before Conversion: Time taken for a user to convert after viewing a variant.
- Scroll Depth: How far users scroll on the page.
- Country: Taken from Cloudflare CF-IPCountry headers. We do not use IP addresses for any lookups and do not store them in our databases.
- User Agent: We parse the visitor's browser, operating system, and device type information without storing the full string.
- HTTP Referrer: We store the referring website, if available.
- UTM Sources: All available UTM tracking data is stored.
- Page Views: We track all visitors' page views.
No Cookies
We do not set cookies on our clients' visitors' browsers, which means there is no need for third-party cookie consents.
